Responsibilities: Designs, builds, configures and implements software solutions for the capital markets division from design to delivery. Follows best practices and standards and participates in communities of practice to continuously refine and document these standards. Understanding of DMAIC principles and strong process flow orientation Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.


Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and work experience with 3+ years of engineering or other IT work experience communicating ideas both verbally and in writing to management, business and IT sponsors, and technical resources in the appropriate language for each group.


Essential Skills: Fundamental understanding of DMAIC, LSS principles, distributed computing principles & knowledge of application and data security concepts, best practices, and common vulnerabilities. Ability to shift between priorities while still pushing progress. Able to effectively communicate between Development/Technical teams and non-technical business partners. Ability to create data and process flow diagrams.


Preferred Skills: Conceptual understanding of one or more of the following: Big Data technologies, reporting tools, messaging systems, data warehousing, major version control systems, continuous integration/delivery tools, infrastructure automation. Knowledge around derivatives, fixed income, market risk and the processing of these products.
