Cyber Security
Responsibilities:
Lead the review or audit of cybersecurity work products and processes for clients seeking compliance to standards in cybersecurity and related fields, including ISO/SAE 21434, ISO FDIS 24089, UNECE WP.29 R155 and R156 and other similar standards relevant to systems-and software-engineering and secure development lifecycle.
Employ established methods and frameworks, relevant to cybersecurity and related fields, to lead the review or audit of cybersecurity cases for complex software-intensive systems.
Lead client programs by interacting regularly with clients in technical program meetings and project reviews. Address client concerns and to resolve client issues. Provide expert technical leadership and guidance to clients in reference to cybersecurity and related technical fields. Projects may include travel to client sites and to other UL locations.
Witness or execute security or software update tests on vehicles.
Lead full training events in topics relevant to cybersecurity and related fields, including ISO/SAE 21434, ISO FDIS 24089 R155/R156 and other similar standards.
Lead business development activities defining Statements of Work (SOWs) and providing budgetary estimates for client proposal development
Contribute to mentorship and development of junior-level engineering personnel
Requirements:
Experience with performing threat analysis and risk assessments, and/or vulnerability analyses.
Two years' experience working within automotive or similar domains, particularly experience with vehicle EE systems. Specifically, Bus protocols, Diagnostics, and software update mechanisms preferred.
Experience with vehicle homologation processes and UN ECE regulations preferred
ISO/SAE 21434 auditing experience preferred
Experience with cybersecurity penetration testing (In the automotive space is preferred).
Two years of experience in software development, testing methods or software update frameworks preferred.
University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or a closely related field in a relevant technical field
