Business Enterprise Legal Team
Location: On-site at Eli Lilly headquarters (Indianapolis, IN)
Job Description: Lilly is looking for a top-notch candidate to serve as a Lead Data Architect within the Eli Lilly Business Enterprise Legal Team, your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy and vision for the legal business unit. This includes overseeing data from three main divisions: intellectual property, E-discovery, and legal operations. The key challenge lies in delivering key solutions, structures, and visibility for data that is currently not well understood within Lilly.
Responsibilities:
Build a robust data strategy and vision to aggregate, centralize, and consume data from enterprise databases, focusing on highly sensitive red data.
Utilize Power BI to run reports and visualizations, ensuring timely refreshment of data for both Kan and ad hoc reports.
Act as a technical business aggregator, collaborating with various stakeholders to contextualize data and contribute to agile business continuity.
Implement mechanisms for self-service data access while maintaining strict controls over data integrity and security.
Own the project entirely, driving it to success through proactive problem-solving and effective coordination with internal teams.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role, preferably within the legal or pharmaceutical industry.
Strong understanding of enterprise databases and experience with Power BI for report generation and visualization.
Ability to analyze complex data sets, derive insights, and develop strategies to optimize data utilization.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams effectively.
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects, drive initiatives to completion, and deliver tangible results.
Must be local and able to work on-site at Eli Lilly headquarters in Indianapolis, IN.
