This Director of Engagement and Analytics Senior position is dedicated to managing the MPH Data Governance Program. The DGD provides strategic, tactical and operational leadership in the development of the state-wide enterprise Data Governance initiative.
The MPH Data Governance program aligns with the Data Capability Assessment Model (DCAM®) policies and procedures as prescribed by the EDM Council guidelines for data management, governance and analytics.
The DGD will be the MPH leader and advocate for developing enterprise data governance across State Agencies. The primary DGD duties and responsibilities include:
• Defining DCAM best practices in data governance standards, ethics, security and compliance.
• Facilitating Data Governance Process Design and Implementation
• Creating DCAM-based tools, templates, training and certification programs for State Agency data stakeholders
• Collaborating with State Agencies in benchmarking current-state data governance capabilities and developing a roadmap to future-state DCAM compliance
• Managing Metrics
• Establishing Data Governance work groups facilitating enterprise collaboration
• Maintaining the EDM/DCAM relationship with MPH
